Great Rainy Road & unscheduled arrival

I left sunny Melbourne Monday morning with Danka, Andrea and Paul and we went to the Great Ocean Road together, but the weather already turned to be grey and cold when we arrived in Torquay, but as we just surfed ( or tried to) it didn't really matter that day.
The next day, when we wanted to do sightseeing, we got a bit annoyed as it rained all day and we were soaking wet, but it was still fun and we saw the 12 apostles, koalas, funny birds.. But my camera didn't seem to like the rain and stopped working :(

On Wednesday we went to the Grampions NP and it reminded me a lot of Kakadu NP, here it was so rainy and  foggy that there was no point in walking to the lookouts ( they were in the clouds), so we stayed a lot of time next to a fireplace in the visitor center to dry, ( in Kakadu it was so hot and we had no 4WD so we tried to stay next to the aircon in the visitor center).. But we still did a quiet nice walk (to end up in the clouds...)

In the evening we left to Ararat, where my bus to Adelaide should pick me up at 11:45pm and the plan was to just spend the evening in a McDonalds or Pub so that the others could leave at maybe 9 or 10 to find a spot to sleep, but nothing was open till 12 so they waited with me and we slept a few a hours in the car. I was a bit worried when the bus didn't came on time, but it was just 15 minutes late. It was quit hard to say good bye as I just then finally realised that my time in Melbourne is over now..
I finally arrived in Adelaide at around 6am and walked with my 14kg backpack and my daypack through the city...
One friend of mine from Melbourne was in Adelaide too, so I caught up with her and we just sat down in a Cafe when my phone rang and a guy said that my train to Perth got cancelled, cause there was something on the tracks and that the next one would go in one week.. One week?!?Stuck in Adelaide?! I decided that I didn't wanted to wait that long in Adelaide, so I had a look for flights and the cheapest one was on that day, so I left two hours later to the airport.. And landed at 6pm in Perth, where Peta picked me up - thank you sooo much. Well and now I am here, back in Perth :)
